I am Nacer Mahi, a passionate mathematics teacher and researcher, specializing in the analysis of partial differential equations and wave system stabilization problems.
After obtaining my Master’s degree in Mathematical Analysis and Applications (Statistics option) at USTO Oran, where I graduated top of my class with a thesis on the optimization of wireless sensor networks, I began a PhD at USTHB Algiers. My research focuses on the asymptotic analysis of solutions to wave equations with nonlinear dissipation and localized memory, with the goal of establishing exponential decay rates of the energy using Lyapunov functionals.
Alongside my research, I teach mathematics at various levels: leading tutorial sessions at the university, teaching high school classes, and providing in-person and online tutoring. My teaching philosophy aims to make mathematics accessible and engaging, fostering autonomy and critical thinking in my students.
I am always open to academic collaborations and innovative research projects in my field.
