I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Aeronautics, Imperial College London.
My research focuses on dynamical systems, control theory and machine learning, specifically pertaining to high order nonlinear systems and fluid-solid interaction. I am currently developing novel mathematical analysis and data-driven modelling methods for nonlinear control of highly flexible structures interacting with fluid flows. My research is conducted under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Wynn of the Flow Control Group and Professor Rafael Palacios of the Load Control and Aeroelastics Laboratory.
I received my BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Control Theory, Dynamical Systems and Robotics from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. Prior to joining Imperial College London, I worked as a researcher in particle detector technologies at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland as well as an R&D engineer developing novel dynamic light control systems in Zurich, Switzerland.
