Hello! I’m Enrico Sartor, a PhD student at the Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship at FAU, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2022 from the University of Udine, where I also completed my master’s degree in 2024, specializing in dynamical systems. My thesis, written during a six-month exchange at ETH Zurich, focused on sparse optimal control of non-local continuity equations.
My research interests include optimal control of (infinite-dimensional) dynamical systems, optimal transport, and their connections to deep learning.
