HB Conference: Modelling, Machine Learning and Control

On April 9th. – 11th., 2025 Prof. Enrique Zuazua will give a talk as keynote speaker on Modelling, Machine Learning and Control at the HB Conference organized by Team of Analysis and Control of Systems and Interactions (TACSI), the Laboratory of Mathematics, Modeling and Automatic Systems, Faculty of Sciences Semlalia of Marrakesh, and the Mathematics Center of Cadi Ayyad University on Evolution Equations and Control Theory:

-Population dynamics

-Numerical analysis of partial differential equations
-Machine learning

Abstract. Often in applications the first and major challenge is to derive reliable models to later employ them for design, control and decision-making purposes. In this lecture we will present a hybrid strategy, based on the combination of classical PDE approaches and data-driven ones, to design models that are both, data aware and consistent with mechanics. The appropriate blending of Machine Learning and Control techniques will play a major role.
