Jerzy Respondek is a Polish computer engineer with a postdoctoral degree in technical sciences.
He is a professor at the Department of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology and specializes in numerical methods.

Finally, authors give a series of applications of fast matrix multiplication algorithms in linear algebra and other types of problems, including artificial intelligence.”
Co-author of the best algorithm in history, since 1891, for inverting confluent-type Vandermonde matrices, in terms of efficiency, memory requirements and accuracy at the same time:
