Hi there !
Coming from the Mathematics and Computer Science department of l’Ecole des Ponts ParisTech in France, I took the opportunity to make an internship at the Chair to try and dive into what mathematical research looks like from inside. This internship will provide deep and important reflexions on my will to carry on a Ph. D. thesis afterwards. Even if it is my first experience in research, my background in probability, analysis, and statistical physics are key to the main topic of the internship : investigating the links between Controllability of dynamical systems and Mixing in a probabilistic setting.
