Dragoș Manea

I am a PhD student at Simion Stoilow Mathematical Institute of the Romanian Academy, on a subject of Partial Differential Equations. More specifically, I’m currently working on evolution problems, studying asymptotic estimates for diffusion equations in various settings: from metric graphs to Riemannian manifolds.

I am also interested in control problems and analysing numerical methods related to this type of equations.
In terms of extra-mathematical pursuits, I’m interested in theology (liturgical, spirituality), Byzantine music, programming (especially web design) and strumming the guitar. I’m serious – sometimes too serious – always on the go, often forgetting to unplug.
