I am Christopher and a PhD student from Germany. I completed my bachelor’s degree in computer science plus mathematics at LMU Munich and my master’s degree in mathematics with a focus on analysis and stochastics at FAU, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. I also took some modules in theoretical physics and philosophy.
Everyone should be able to live the life they want. As a mathematician, I would therefore also like to make a contribution to the energy transition and add more mathematical grounding to the problems involved.
Since April 2025 I’m collaborating with Prof. Martin Gugat at the C03 Nodal control and the turnpike phenomenon subproject of the TRR154.
My main research interests include:
i. Relaxation Problems
ii. Koopman Operators
iii. Infinite-Dimensional non-linear Optimization
iv. Decidability and Solvability of (stochastic) numerical problems
v. Gamma-Convergence in Variational Problems
