Hey, my name is Michael and I am a senior scientist at the Chair for Dynamics, Control and Numerics at FAU, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. I studied Industrial Mathematics at FAU and I got my Doctoral degree in 2021 in the same place.
My main interests are PDE constrained optimization, optimization with probabilistic constraints, optimization under uncertainty and probabilistic robustness. Most of my work is motivated by the “CRC TRR154 Mathematical modelling, simulation and optimization using the example of gas networks” project.
