  My Publications at FAU-CRIS

I have obtained my diploma in Mathematics from RWTH Aachen, Nordrhein-Westfalen (1990). I got promoted at Universität Trier, Rheinland-Pfalz, DE as scientic assistant (1990-2000), Habilitation Angewandte Mathematik (1994-1999) and Dr. rer. nat. (1990-1994).

From 2000 to 2003 I have worked at Technische Universität Darmstadt and 2003 I have joined Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Bavaria – Germany.
Since 2013 I am Academic Director at FAU.

As Akad. Dir. at the Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg my research interests are Optimal boundary control of hyperbolic systems, boundary feedback stabilization, Optimal Control, Optimization, Uncertainty.
